What are cookies and why are they needed?

When visiting us, some functionalities will only work if text files (so-called cookies) are stored on the user's computer. These cookies serve to make navigation more personalised, effective and safer. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, for you to receive information according to your interests on the page. The exclusive aim is therefore to adapt our offer to customer requirements in the best possible way.

Cookies may be used in the following classifications on our website:

Own cookies:

We directly control these types of cookies. Depending on the purpose, they remain permanently - even after the end of the session (so-called persistent cookies, e.g. to store the access code, implement deletion) or are deleted when the browser is closed (so-called session cookie; they are only valid for one browser session, e.g. to display the shopping cart on several pages).

Third-party cookies:

These types of cookies are controlled by third parties. Third-party vendors are vendors who use cookies to transmit, for example, information from an advertising banner.

So-called temporary / permanent cookies are used, which are deleted automatically after the specified time. The cookies of the partner companies also contain only pseudonymous data, usually even anonymous. They allow our partners to understand which products you have viewed, whether something was purchased, which products were searched for, etc. Here, some of our advertising partners also record information about which pages you have previously visited or which products you have visited. You were interested, for example, in order to be able to show you advertising that best suits your interests. These pseudonymous data are never combined with your personal data. They have the sole purpose of allowing our advertising partners to approach you with advertising that may genuinely interest you.

We use cookies on the basis of Article 7(IX) of the LGPD. Certain cookies are used exclusively on the basis of your consent(Article 7 (I) of the LGPD). The respective legal basis and the specific content of the consent can be found under "Consents" as well as in the information about the respective service.
